Property Guide
Build a guest guide with WiFi details, access codes, parking, directions, and check-in notes. Sensitive info uses tap-to-reveal for privacy.
What is the guest guide
The guest guide is a set of helpful details that guests see when they open their check-in link. It appears before the condition walkthrough, so guests get the information they need most before they start photographing rooms.
Setting up the guide
- Open the property page.
- Click the Guide tab.
- Fill in any of the following fields:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| WiFi Network | The network name (SSID) |
| WiFi Password | The network password |
| Access Code | Door lock code, keypad PIN, or gate code |
| Parking | Where to park, any restrictions, permits needed |
| Directions | How to find the property, landmarks, entry instructions |
| Check-in Notes | Any additional information for arrival |
All fields are optional. Fill in what is relevant to your property.
Tap to reveal
Fields that contain sensitive information (WiFi password, access code, gate codes) use a tap to reveal pattern on the guest's screen.
- The value is hidden by default, showing only the label (e.g. "Access Code: ****")
- The guest taps the field to see the actual value
- This prevents accidental exposure if someone is nearby
How guests see the guide
When a guest opens their check-in link, they see:
- A welcome screen with the property name and their stay dates
- The guest guide with all the details you filled in
- A Continue button that takes them to the house rules (if any) and then the room-by-room condition walkthrough
The guide is always accessible from the guest's screen during their stay. They can scroll back to it at any time.
Editing the guide
- Open the property page and click the Guide tab.
- Update any field.
- Click Save.
Changes take effect immediately for any guest who has not yet opened their link. Guests who already completed check-in keep the version they saw.
Tips
- Keep directions concise. Guests are often reading them on their phone while walking or driving.
- Include backup access instructions in the check-in notes (e.g. "If the keypad does not work, call...").
- Update the access code field whenever you change the lock code.
