Create a Property
Add a new property with its name, address, timezone, and rooms. Each room gets its own photo set per stay.
Before you start
You need at least one property to create stays and send check-in links. Each property holds its own rooms, guest guide, house rules, and baseline photos.
Steps
- Go to Properties in the sidebar.
- Click Add Property.
- Fill in the property details:
Property details
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Yes | A short name for the property (e.g. "Lakeside Cabin") |
| Address | Yes | Full street address, city, and postal code |
| Timezone | Yes | Used to stamp check-in and checkout times on reports |
| Description | No | Internal notes about the property (not shown to guests) |
Adding rooms
After entering the basic details, add the rooms in your property:
- Click Add Room.
- Enter the room name (e.g. "Living Room", "Master Bedroom", "Bathroom 1").
- Repeat for every room you want to document.
Why rooms matter: During check-in and checkout, guests photograph each room separately. This keeps photos organized and makes it easy to compare conditions room by room in reports.
Common room setups
- Studio apartment: Living Area, Kitchen, Bathroom
- 1-bedroom: Living Room, Bedroom, Kitchen, Bathroom
- House: Living Room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Bedroom 1, Bedroom 2, Bathroom 1, Bathroom 2, Garage
There is no limit on the number of rooms. Add as many as you need to document the property thoroughly.
After creating
Once the property is created, you can:
- Upload baseline photos for each room (see Upload Photos)
- Set up the guest guide with WiFi, access code, and directions (see Property Guide)
- Add house rules guests must accept at check-in (see House Rules)
- Create a stay and send check-in links (see Send Check-In)
Editing a property
